JAWS 8.0 Installation Steps

1. Go to Start, and click Run. In the pop-up box, type in the following: \\sunset.okstate.edu\JAWS.

2. You may be asked to login to the server. If so, provide your O-Key email address ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ) and your O-Key password.

3. Double-click the executable file “SetupJAWS8.0 Installer.exe”.

4. The customized installer will begin with a welcome message. Click Next.

5. The installer will indicate that setup is now ready to install JAWS 8.0 on your computer.” Click Install.

6. The installer will extract the installation files to C:/temp created on your computer and install JAWS 8.0 onto your computer. This will take a few moments.

7. After the installer has completed, click Finish.

8. Reboot your system. Delete any JAWS 8.0 related files and folders created on your C:/temp folder.
