Through a combination of text, audio and images, learning can be immensely enriched. Who uses EasyReader? Anyone with a visual or print impairment, but especially students or people who need to navigate around complex learning material. Training Since the software is new, we have offered some basic training information, available here. For more in-depth training, it is recommended that you visit Dolphin USA at http://www.yourdolphin.com. Other support is available in the software itself and through our office. OSU Specific Information The version of EasyReader available at OSU is only compatible with Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista computers. For individuals using other Operating Systems, please contact our office for more information on Macintosh or Linux alternatives. Availability EasyReader is licensed for use on any OSU-System owned computer, including OSU-Stillwater, OSU-Okmulgee, OSU-Tulsa, OSU-Oklahoma City, and OSU-CHS. The software is also licensed for use by Students, Faculty, and Staff on personally owned computers both and or off campus. Download & Installation EasyReader is available for download on our Assistive Technology Server. In the future, it will be available at the OSU Information Technology Division's Software Distribution Center. Installation should be fairly straightforward, but additional instructions and walk-throughs are available in the AT Installation Guide. |
